Purpose and Mission Statement:
Purpose: To help youth, especially, the at-risk, to learn how to solve problems in a positive manner, to instill positive character development such as empathy, respect and responsibility through animal-assisted therapy programs.
Mission Statement:
- To foster empathy, good pet ownership and citizenship through positive reinforcement training methods.
- To help youth, especially the at-risk find a better path in life through animal assisted programs.
- To encourage teamwork and good sportsmanship through animal training and competitive canine sports.
- To help each youth learn better life skills to improve self-esteem, trust, respect, courage and attitude.
- To help each youth learn new skills to prepare them for a better job and career.
- To help families find an inexpensive way to train and incorporate their dog into the family as a family memeber.
